Leslie Symonds

Leslie Symonds began improvising in college, at the University of Iowa in 2014. Her improv team, Paperback Rhino, won the National College Improv Tournament in 2016. She moved to St. Louis for grad school, and currently works in Clinical Research at WashU. She also works part time acting and doing punch up on the occasional sketch at Vat19 for YouTube.

Leslie has been teaching improv since 2022, and began an Introduction to Sketch curriculum in 2025! She’s a part of the Asterisk, Idiot Bitch, Natural 7, Nine Fair Ladies and more (see link below)!
